A million blades of grass, a glistening dew drop, a soaring bird, laughter, a discarded trinket, an antique doodad; the inventory of simple things I enjoy is as infinite as I can imagine and it is these simple realities that I see and interact with daily that inspire me to create. Whether reminiscent of my beliefs, the objects I touch, the emotions I feel, the experiences I have endured, or the memories I treasure; every artwork I create is a little piece of who I was, am, and will become. My artwork will always be as diverse as my interests, for as I change and learn, my artwork also transforms. And yet, my intentions remain the same; to express, through visual art, the ideas that I am most passionate about. My sculptures are formal interpretations, conceptual ambiguities, and aesthetic reflections of the ways in which I visualize and interact with the world around me. Each work is an attempt to provide the viewer with more questions than answers; For it is in making tangible my ideas, questions, inspirations, joys, truths, falsehoods, and doubts that I hope the viewer might initiate their own thoughts and perhaps, discover a new piece of themselves.
